Self Tanning
The bronzing system I have chosen and that we use at Adonia in York city centre, is Naturasun. It was developed by a world renowned make up artist and inventor and is truly an innovative breakthrough in the sunless tanning system that emits a unique tanning formula which contains an active ingredient called Dihydroxyacetone (DHA). This causes a harmless chemical reaction with the skin, by airbrushing the body with a cool, soothing vapour to produce a natural looking tan, but without the damage of uv rays.
Naturasun has many advantages over other self tanning products; it is fast, effective and easy to use. Sunless tanners can now appreciate the flawless application as it eliminates the previous problems such as streaks, patches, orange skin, application time and the tell tale signs on hands and feet. Also it is available in several different shades from very discreet to a rich deep tan, the shades can also be mixed for a custom made colour. We even offer a twinkle tan, which has a very fine shimmer expertly designed for special occasions.
